Description
Phaetus TaiChi Hotend is a high-performance 2-in-1 hotend designed for flexible dual-filament 3D printing. Its integrated double-feed system allows two 1.75 mm filaments to be connected and processed separately through a single nozzle, making it suitable for multi-color, multi-material, and support-material printing. Unlike traditional dual-hotend setups, the single-nozzle design makes leveling simpler and more consistent.
The TaiChi features a tapered all-metal heatbreak with a thin 0.25 mm wall for effective heat insulation and heat dissipation. Titanium-alloy support screws provide low thermal conductivity and enable convenient one-handed nozzle changes. Phaetus specifies a maximum printing temperature of 500°C, making the hotend suitable for a wide range of thermoplastic and high-temperature materials.
Available in black and blue, the TaiChi is compatible with Creality Ender and CR series printers and can also be adapted to other compatible FDM platforms
