Print preparation

The low-temperature melting polymer solidifies below 18 °C. It is necessary to preheat the resin before use to 25-40 °C (you can use CW1S preheat function). Also, thorough mixing and debubbling is recommended. For larger models, the minimum number of supports might be higher than usual, and 0.4 mm contact points (or higher) are recommended.

Post-curing process

The resin may be post-cured with 91% to 99% Ethylalcohol or Isopropylalcohol.
- Washing in an ultrasonic cleaner takes approx. 5 minutes
- Using a resin washer machine (CW1S) takes 5 to 10 minutes
- Simple immersion in an alcohol bath takes approx. 10 minutes

Dry the model with compressed air, when the washing is done. The proper post-curing will be presented by the transition from dark gray to light-gray/white color of the model.

Spraying the surface with ethyl alcohol or IPA again and drying helps to improve the casting quality.

Casting Properties

BlueCast X-One V2 gets completely burned out at 650 °C or 1202 °F. However, the manufacturer recommends using a last-stage temperature of 700 °C or 1292 °F.

This version allows you to make the ultra-fast burnout (2 hours at 700 °C). Allow the flask to rest for 3 hours, then proceed to 700°C (1290°F) and maintain that temperature for 60 to 90 minutes. Reduce the temperature to your casting temperature and hold for 60 minutes before casting as usual.

X-One V2 upgrades:
